PSVAR stands for Public Service Vehicles Accessibility Regulations, which are UK regulations ensuring that coaches are accessible to passengers with disabilities. Our vehicles include features such as, wheelchair lifts, designated spaces for wheelchairs, audible and visible announcements all meeting the need of passengers with disabilities.
This compliance is mandatory for certain type of services in the UK, for example home to school transport and the Rail Replacement sector. With our full fleet of compliant vehicles, Atlantic Travel are fully equipped and experienced to carry out all sectors of transport within the industry.
All our Drivers have enhanced DBS checks and undergo thorough training to represent our brand. Child safeguarding and defibrillator training are a main aspect of training in which our drivers undertake.
Our training provided to our drivers ensure that all journeys can be catered for and executed with utmost professionalism and safety for each client.
Atlantic Travel are proud to be COVID 19 Compliant. We provide designated seats with signs and screens if these rules apply. Hand gel and protective masks are available on request. Our vehicles are cleaned and sanitised at least twice a day or after each use and face masks are available on request.
We ensure strict application of VOSA (Vehicle Operating Standards Agency) rules and regulations. All our vehicles are safety inspected every 6 weeks by an independent VOSA accredited garage.
